About

HealthTech Summit, formerly known as Life On Chip

The annual HealthTech Summit was launched in 2019 as Life on Chip, co-hosted by the Province of Flemish Brabant, Flanders.bio, DSP Valley and Leuven MindGate. The focus was similar to what it is today: Innovations fostered through crossovers of the medtech and biotech industries and regenerative medicine.

Over the years, other organizations signed on to host and sponsor the conference, including Enterprise Europe Network, Flanders’ department of Innovation and Entrepreneurship (VLAIO), MedTech Flanders, VIB, Antleron, BioWin, imec, Agoria and Voka Health Community.

Today the conference, rebranded HealthTech Summit, brings together professionals working at the crossroads of medtech, biotech and digital medicine to discuss the future of collaborative innovation and connecting with patients and healthcare providers. It is co-hosted by Smart Hub Flemish Brabant and cluster organization MEDVIA (previously Flanders.healthTech), with the support and advice of Flanders.bio, VIB, BioWin, VLAIO and the EIT Health.

Join us for a day of discussions with national and international experts and VCs in medtech, biotech, digital health and patient care on the current state and future of collaborative innovation.
